Businesses and other types of organizations that plan on building substantial new Drupal-based websites can learn from others that have already traveled along that path, by reading and learning from case studies, each of which is a report that documents one or more aspects of a completed website development project. This typically includes the project's context and goals, an overview of the project stakeholders, known technical constraints, the reasons for choosing Drupal over competing solutions, the website's design, technical challenges and how they were overcome, and pertinent notes about contributed and custom modules used. Drupal.org offers more than 200 such case studies, organized by category and core code version.
