Drupal Diff for Delineating Differences

This article was published in the print magazine Drupal Watchdog, Volume 5 Issue 2,

As part of a content approval workflow, it can be valuable for editors and other people involved in the process to be able to see changes between various revisions of any given content — whether additions, deletions, or modifications. The Diff module is tailor-made for this functionality. Its configuration page (admin/config/content/diff) allows one to display any differences using the classic CSS styles or boxes, and as HTML or plain text; limit which revisions can be compared; and specify the number of leading and trailing lines of adjacent text (for providing context).
