Workflows and Rules with Drupal Commerce

In the realm of online workflows, most attention is given to those designed for text and media content creation, editing, and approval. Yet just as worthy are those used by e-commerce websites for guiding a prospective customer through a marketing funnel, then through a shopping cart process, and finally through payment and notification. Drupal Commerce has numerous built-in events that facilitate developing rules needed for such workflows — such as a change to a customer profile, the update of an order, a full payment, a saving of a payment transaction, and even a customer simply viewing a product.
